Dr. Avery is a certified Emotional Intelligence Coach and Facilitator, is the founder and CEO of Philecia Dayle, LLC (PDLLC), a leadership, life coaching, and professional development consulting company. Her unique perspective, skillful guidance, and insightful coaching have impacted the lives of thousands across the country. A published author and creator, Dr. Avery’s “Goal Setting and Vision Board Workshop,” along with Diversity & Inclusion consulting and intense personal coaching, has helped many from all walks of life.
Her highly successful work has been recognized with the IMS Health Bernie Greenberg award and the Most Influential Woman in Ohio award, amongst numerous others. Because she has a strong passion to “pay it forward,” Dr. Avery created a networking group, 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧™️,” which provides women with a supportive space to build meaningful relationships grounded in access to advice resources to thrive both personally and professionally.
A trailblazer and seasoned leader in the healthcare and pharmacy industry, Dr. Avery became The Kroger Company's first woman and first African American Vice President of Pharmacy. Responsible for Kroger’s entire U.S. pharmaceutical landscape, Dr. Avery provided leadership to 22,000 employees, managed a $10 billion budget, and drove the strategy, business direction, and operation of the 2300 retail, mail, and central fill pharmacies.

At Philecia Dayle, Taylor Avery serves as Business Development Consultant.
Taylor partners with our clients to ideate and strategize plans that help build, sustain and scale their business. Her expertise lies in creating and implementing business plans with a focus on operations, graphic content creation and planning and designing business development events, as well as meeting facilitation.
Her experience managing Vanderbilt Medical Innovation Center, has helped her build a foundation in executive level strategic planning, operations/systems and scaling.
Taylor has a dog, Prince the Pit, and love documentaries.

Sahara Mehdi is a journalism student in her third year at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario.
She loves to write fiction and poetry, as well as create her own videos and short films.
